One wonderful development in the life of familiar comedy hero Komalkumar is that he has taken up theatres on lease in 2011. Komalkumar who was earlier distributor of 30 plus films is now exhibitor too. He has on lease theatres in Gangavathi, Shimoga and Koppal. He has plans to take up lease of at least one theatre in one district of Karnataka.

Meanwhile the news is that he is becoming ‘Rocket Gowda’ and shooting the entire film in Georgia. He has acquired information from the manager of Ana Barbara a Georgian heroine of him in ‘Govindayanamaha’. Komalkumar will be shooting before June as the sunlight will be bright within this period. ‘Rocket Gowda’ is half way through the script he is the producer of this film.

According to Komalkumar the release of one film in Kannada per week is feasible. When Shyloo and Vishnuvardhana came together the collections of ‘Shyloo’ got affected. In the same way the non Kannada films rocking in over 80 screen in Karnataka a big bane to Kannada films. There is no one to curtail them. In the print they say maximum of 22. But UFO system there is no check.

Meanwhile Komalkuma in his three theatres is showing Shyloo, Don-2 and Raja Pattiyam Telugu version of Vikram Tamil film. My film ‘Maryadhe Ramanna’ was also affected with the release of a Tamil film. He has asked for release of ‘Chingari’ and Telugu film ‘Businessman’ for the coming weeks.

Film making noise is very important off late says Komal Kumar. After ‘Govindaya Namaha’ release, Komalkumar ‘Radhikan Ganda’ is releasing. There is no objection to it. If it comes we will make it ‘Heroin Ganda’ or ‘Komal Hendthi’.

‘Somberi’ for Anaji Nagaraj and ‘Pungi Dasa’ for Ramu International banner (title was originally with Hamsalekha) are the titles waiting for Komalkumar without a proper story.

Komalkumar did not forget to put his arrow on Nidhi Subbaiah. After that song in ‘Chamkaisi Chindi Udaisi’ she got many offers and now she is in a bikini for CCL calendar. Why she should appear like that asks Komalkumar.
